"Original Toiletries" is an anthology's brand, the result of research, recovery and re-evaluation of icon products for shaving and toiletries of the UK market and other brands worldwide.
The brand, founded in 2004 in Rome, is now recognized as a pioneer and forefront distributor not only of toiletries products, with a large and precise focus on the art of shaving and male grooming, but expands its selection evolving even to contemporary products, preferably natural and organic lines, both Italian and international.
“It all started by accident, – says Francesco Gaudiosi, the founder -” I found in the cellar an old brochure of my grandfather. In the twenties he was a salesman who visited barbers and perfume shops in the heart of Rome, by offering products for men’s grooming. I was particularly fascinated by illustrations and products’ descriptions, and I wondered if they still existed. Everything began from there, the search of products and historic brands in every corner of the world and the desire to recover not only the products, but also tell the stories of hundred-years-old companies “
In addition to distributing brands to a selected number of independent stores in Italy and in the world, especially niche perfumeries, barbers and concept stores, Original Toiletries has inaugurated in June 2015 the first flagship in Rome, forerunner of a global retail project, which plans to open additional retail stores and also corners inside iconic fashion and lifestyle stores.
The flagship, which offers to consumers a wide selection of over 500 references, is a real trip around the world, to discover the quality and design, applied to accessible luxury products part of the rituals of everyday life.
